Welcome to Ladybird Class!
Term 5 and 6 Muck Mess and Mixtures
Well I apologise in advance parents - THIS TERM WE ARE GOING TO GET MESSY!! Over the next 2 terms we will be exploring some key English texts ; George's Marvellous Medicine, Revolting Recipes and The Disgusting Sandwich and becoming scientists and word collectors! Doing these jobs can only be done by exploring all kinds of messy, yukky substances- you have been warned! However, it will all be worth it as we will use these findings to create some wonderful instructions for some truly disgusting inventions, recipes and medicines of our own. (You may not want to consume any though!)
As we currently have tadpoles and are hoping to get caterpillars too- we will also be doing a mini topic on minibeasts and insects. As always, we follow the children's interests so who knows what other adventures awaits us.

We will be exploring how different Bible stories link to this theme and will continue to link our learning to our “10 things to do before you leave Fletching” points.
Phonics
During the summer terms we will be continuing our phonics journey with the help of our little wandle scheme.
